Typical Gran Canaria & Tenerife Trip Itinerary
Note: this is a sample itinerary only, and GoBike will work with you and your group to build an itinerary to suit your requirements.
We start the week riding to the town of Soria. After 20km of rolling hills next to the ocean we head inland for the climb of the day 7km at 7% average with sections over 10%. Once at the top, we will enjoy a fresh mango juice before we head back to the hotel.
Today is turn to visit the village of Santa Lucia for coffee and cake with a gorgeous loop towards the East.
Today you will need your climbing legs as we will cycle from sea level to Pico de Las Nieves, the highest point of Gran Canaria. Once we get to the top, it's time to have fun descending back to the coast in the north part of the island.
Starting in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, we will cycle to the Anaga Rural Park with its unique forest of Laurisilva. Incredible views to the Ocean and to Teide, the highest volcano in Spain.
Today is the day for the famous TF-28, the road that connects the north and the south. More than 30km of rolling hills that will take us to El Poris for a coffee in front of the beach before we ride the main climb of the day to the village of Arico. 10km at 5% average through the windmills in a super quiet road.
Final day of the week and probably the most scenic day of it. Just 1 climb today but not a normal one, today is time for Teide. Don't worry that it's not all about climbing. We will finish the ride on the north side of the island for a big Paella where we will end a fabulous week of riding.

This holiday is a dream come true for avid cyclists. Riding through the best islands for winter cycling, I had the incredible opportunity to conquer both Pico de las Nieves and Teide in the same week. The routes are challenging but immensely rewarding, with plenty of sun and stunning climbs.
