Our Favourite Route in the Eifel Mountains

HAUROTH & EPPENBERG

From the starting point in the municipality of Kehrig , the route first goes down into the "Elzbachtal", the lowest point of the tour. In a constant up and down, the route then continues directly to the highest point of the route between the municipalities of Hauroth and Eppenberg and from there down again towards Bermel.

The tour then climbs steeply up to the small Eifel municipalities of Ditscheid and Münk. Alternating between climbs and descents, the route then goes down again into the idyllic "Elzbachtal" and through the half-timbered village of Monreal with its two castle ruins. After crossing it, the tour first climbs over the Geisbüschhof and the "Conderhöhe" and from there back down to Alzheim.

From here, it climbs slightly back to the starting point in the municipality of Kehrig.
